Kältebus München e.V.

The Kältebus München drives through Munich in the evenings in winter and provides homeless people with warm food and hot drinks. The people in need are visited directly at their campsites and the food is brought there.

Nobody has to come to a collection point, so that people who are not mobile can also get something to eat. The meals, which are freshly cooked every day, are served to people on a tray, also as a sign of appreciation. This is because most needy and homeless people are rarely shown this in their everyday lives on the street.

In other words: We see you, you are important to us. No one should feel like a begger here and be treated like one.

In addition to the main course, guests receive a dessert, some sweets and cookies for takeaway. And if required, hygiene articles and gas cartridges or tarpaulins to protect against moisture can also be handed out.

About the commitment:

The vehicle fleet of Kältebus München e.V. has been expanded with the help of the Dr. Otto and Margarete Graber Foundation. This means that it will also be possible to provide care for homeless people in the Munich area in the future.
