MMI FESTIVAL

The MMI Festival is a young festival that aims to bring free improvised music closer to the public while experimenting in the field of free improvisation in other artistic disciplines.
The global project of the MMI FESTIVAL is designed to take place in different European cities and countries in order to connect improvising artists and their audiences.
Given the nature and the concept of improvisation, musicians do not require previous rehearsals and are usually able to improvise  freely with others. Artists of other genres are also invited to the festival to interact with the musicians. The festival is understood as a bridge between cultures and nationalities in Europe.

Music and art have the advantage of bringing human beings closer to each other.

About the Engagement

In 2025, the MMI FESTIVAL will be organized and run directly by the Dr. Otto and Margarete Graber Foundation.
