Butterfly Experience painting game

Munich Painting Game for equal opportunities

The Butterfly Experience Malspiel is completely inclusive. Language is secondary. The simply structured painting space with its clear rules is self-explanatory. The immutability of the setting provides security. Our target group is all people from the age of three and up. Everyone is welcome here. There are no beginners or advanced learners, but everyone is equally accepted and valued, regardless of where they are in their personal development. We bring people together who are strictly separated from each other in other educational institutions and programs because they are classified according to age or ability.

In contrast to school and the workplace, here children and adults can come into non-competitive contact with each other. They have the chance to make friends beyond their educational background, cultural origin, or financial means, which is becoming increasingly difficult in our status- and education-oriented society.

In this room with its special setting, something can emerge that is not subject to comparison and where no one has to explain themselves. Everyone can simply be here, can perceive and accept themselves and others in their uniqueness, and gather strength for everyday life.

About the Engagement

Thanks to the support of the Dr. Otto and Margarete Graber Foundation, numerous children, young people, and adults who otherwise could not afford to take part in the Butterfly Experience, are now able to paint at the “Karli17”  studio in Munich on a regular basis.
