New construction of the children’s hospice St. Martin in
Polling
With the new building of the children’s hospice, St. Martin, in
Polling, the Hospizverein im Pfaffenwinkel e.V. is creating a
place of security for seriously ill children and their families.
Eight new places will enable children and adolescents to
experience a self-determined stay with their parents and
siblings. The hospice offers more than just medical care – it
creates a space for rest, hope, and time together. In lovingly
designed rooms, families find relief in difficult phases of life,
whether by the hour or over several days. Even in crisis
situations, the hospice offers security and support. A
qualified team accompanies the families with sensitivity and
competence. With the new building, a temporary home is
created – a place where quality of life, compassion, and
dignity are the focus.
Since 1992, the Hospizverein im Pfaffenwinkel e.V. has made
it its task in the Pfaffenwinkel region to accompany people
until their last moment – regardless of age, religion,
nationality or worldview.
